DIRECTIONS:
Travel I-15 to exit #34 (215 West). Travel about 12 miles on 215 West to Charleston Blvd. Exit #22. Exit and turn right onto Charleston Blvd. (East) and go 2 miles to Hualapai. Cross Hualapai and turn right into the Hualapai Commons Shopping Mall. The Outside Inn is on the far right (as you face Smith's) and around the corner.
TRAIL: 5 &10 Km Walks - Rated 1+
The trail takes place on curvy undulating tree-lined sidewalks located in parks and along city streets. The beautiful Spring Mountains to the West add to the aesthetics of this walk. The walk is easy and suitable for baby strollers and wheelchairs; however, there is one short, about 25 feet, descending section of grass that lies between two sidewalks that must be traversed. TRAIL: 6 &10 Km Walks - Rated 1
This walk is along city sidewalks. At the start of the walk, you will pass Terrible's Casino and the Hard Rock Cafe. There will be restrooms at the library and student center. The walking instructions that you picked up when you registered will point out items/buildings of interest along the way; some of which you may want to visit if you are doing the walk during the hours when the buildings are open. CAUTION: use traffic lights. The walk is suitable for baby strollers and wheelchairs. A map and directions will be provided with the registration materials.

From I-15, take exit #34 (I-215 Henderson/McCarran Airport). Continue to Green Valley Pkwy. Turn right onto Green Valley Pkwy and proceed 0.7 mile to Horizon Ridge Pkwy. Green Horizon Chevron is on the corner on your right.
TRAIL:From US-95 (US93/I-515), take exit #61 to I-215 going west. Take the Green Valley Pkwy exit. Turn left onto Green Valley Pkwy and proceed 0.7 mile to Horizon Ridge Pkwy. The Green Horizon Chevron is on the corner on your right.
Trail: 6 & 10 Km Walks - Rated 1
Henderson is the fastest growing area in Las Vegas and this walk is in the choicest areas. The walk meanders along very scenic landscaped city sidewalks, pathways, and parks. You will walk through the District, which is an exclusive shopping arcade, and into the Green Valley Ranch Hotel and Casino, an elegant resort, spa, and casino. Picture taking is not allowed in the gaming area of the casino. A map and directions will be provided with the registration materials. |

You are welcome to take side trips into any of the casinos that you pass. The walk is suitable for baby strollers and wheelchairs. DIRECTIONS:
From Las Vegas, head towards Boulder City. Once past Boulder City on Highway 93, look for the Hacienda Hotel/Casino on your left. Coming from Arizona, cross Hoover Dam on Highway 93. The Hacienda Hotel/Casino will be on your right before you come to Boulder City.
TRAIL: 5, 11, & 13 Km Walks - Rated 2+
The trail follows the old Lewis Construction railroad bed through five tunnels. This was the trail that was used to carry the supplies and materials needed to build Hoover Dam. The barren rocks on one side of the path give one the impression they are on the moon, while on the other side of the trail, the beautiful expanse of Lake Mead, the world's largest man-made lake, offers blissful serenity from the harsh desert conditions. The 11K trail goes to Hoover Dam and the 13K trail goes to Arizona. The trail is not suitable for baby strollers or wheelchairs. Trail directions are included in the registration materials. |

DIRECTIONS:
From Las Vegas, take I-93 south to Boulder City (about 25 miles). At the second light in Boulder City, continue straight on Business 93 (Nevada Hwy) to Arizona Street. Turn right onto Arizona Street and the Hotel is a half block down the street on the right.
From Arizona, cross Hoover Dam and turn left at the first traffic light in Boulder City. Continue on Business 93 (Nevada Hwy) to Arizona Street. Turn right onto Arizona Street and the Hotel is a half block down the street on the right.
TRAIL: 5 & 10 Km Walks - Rated 1+
The trail is suitable for wheel chairs or strollers. The Hotel is operated as a bed and breakfast business and is restored to its original beautiful condition. There is a museum at the rear of the hotel that should not be missed. The trail takes you through historic Boulder City, the only city in Nevada that does not permit gambling. Some of the small cottages constructed in the early 30's for the Hoover Dam employees are still occupied. Several small parks make this a beautiful as well as a historic walk. Sunblock of SF-15 or higher is recommended. Also, take plenty of water. |
